Wizkid’s worldwide number-one single “Essence” in the UK, has achieved yet another milestone.
The frontman of Starboy Entertainment and its owner, whose big hit and its remix just won the coveted BMI songwriting prize, has also received a platinum certification in the UK for the same song.
Wizkid’s “Essence” has already sold more than 600,000 units, according to the official website of the British phonographic business, and as a result, on September 30, 2022, it was formally recognized as a platinum record in England.
