Late country music icon, Naomi Judd, received a befitting and emotional send-off fit in a packed auditorium three weeks after her death.
Her memorial was held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. She was laid in state on a wood stage decorated with 2,500 pink roses.
Her daughters, Wynonna and Ashley, and her husband, Larry Strickland, were accompanied by 2,300 sympathizers.

She and her daughter, Wynonna formed the group, The Judds which won five Grammys for spearheading country music to many generations.
The duo have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum.
Oprah Winfrey and Salma Hayek were among the celebrities to pour out recorded messages for the memorial.

During the ceremony, her daughter, Wynonna took the center stage to grace the occasion with wonderful performance.
She performed Midler’s chart-topping singer, “The Rose” after the musician requested for it.
“Please sing it tonight, knowing I’m right behind you,” she said before adding, “And to my friend, Naomi, rest — finally — in peace.”
Wynonna performed ‘The Rose’ with Brandi Carlile and fans, family and friends were all tearful.
