Daniel Amartey, a Ghanaian defender, discussed his thoughts on Ghana’s loss to the Uruguayans in a post-game interview with Joy News TV.
In the interview, the defender for Leicester City expressed his displeasure with the outcome and his eagerness to redeem himself in the next competition.
Despite their victory over the Black Stars, Uruguay was eliminated from the competition. Just one more goal was necessary for them to advance to the competition’s next round.
In response to a question from a reporter about this incident, Daniel Amartey stated that his team needed to take every precaution to avoid their opponents from scoring more than they did.
