The Men’s Player of the Year was revealed today, Thursday, August 31, 2023, by European football powerhouse and body UEFA at its award night.

Following an interesting 2022/2023 season at the national and club levels, UEFA announced the Men’s player of the year today, Thursday, August 31, 2023, during its award presentation.

The nominees for Men’s Player of the Year 2023 are as follows:

Kevin DE BRUYNE (Belgium – Manchester City FC)

Erling HAALAND (Norway – Manchester City FC)

Lionel MESSI (Argentina – Paris Saint-Germain, now at Inter Miami CF)

Erling Haaland was named Men’s Player of the Year 2023 after an outstanding debut season at Manchester City. The Norwegian played a key role in Manchester City’s conquest of Europe in the 2022/2023 club football season. He scored over 50 goals across all competitions, proving to be an important element of Pep Guardiola’s offense in the Premier League and Champions League.
