On the main Accra-Nsawam road at the Ofankor barrier, a blazing fire destroyed a cargo vehicle laden with eggs.
At the scene, firefighters are battling a huge fire.
Due to the unfortunate fire, heavy vehicular traffic has built up on the main and outlying routes heading to Nsawam.
Commuters and vehicles stranded on the affected stretch of the main and outlying highways are urged to be patient while firefighters work diligently to restore order.
