Official confirmation of a top player’s transfer and move to Chelsea FC’s direct opponent, Tottenham Hotspur, has been made.
A transfer of one of its key players to Tottenham Hotspur was announced by Chelsea FC in an official announcement, which surprised many. In an official statement, the blues announced that Bethany England, a record-breaking squad member and England international, will be departing the club after more than seven years.
Head coach Emma Hayes and her former teammates would both miss the outstanding player, who appeared in over 160 games for the blues at Kings Meadow and scored 74 goals in those games.

After seven years of service to the club, Chelsea Women can today confirm the departure of forward Bethany England to Tottenham Hotspur.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to thank Bethany for her impeccable service to the club, and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
Emma Hayes, the head coach, also commented on the event. She disclosed:
Beth has given tremendous service to the club. She has contributed to all of our success over the past seven years and she leaves a winner and a Chelsea legend. We wish her the very best for the next stage of her career.’
