Ghanaian international footballer and Arsenal FC Midfielder, Thomas Partey has acknowledged that he has changed his name.
On Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, the news was confirmed on Sport Bible’s official website. According to sources, the Ghanaian confirmed that after meeting his girlfriend, Sara Bella, he changed his religion from Christianity to Islam.
Thomas Partey and Bella are formally married, “I’m married, and my Muslim name is Yakubu,” she says.
The defensive midfielder was born into a Christian family in Eastern Ghana and went on to play for Atletico Madrid until joining Arsenal in October 2020 for £45 million.
