After a romantic proposal, Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois is poised to marry his model girlfriend Mishel Gerzig.
To cap off the goalkeeper’s fantasy week, Courtois dropped down on one knee on a summer retreat on a yacht in a magnificent setting, and Gerzig enthusiastically agreed to become his wife.
“Yessss to a lifetime with you,” the Israeli beauty gushed on social media after sharing photos of the former Chelsea star’s proposal.
It seemed only right that the couple declared their romance on Instagram, as it was there that they first met, when the Belgian slipped into Mishel’s DMs.
With a Man-of-the-Match performance in the Champions League Final, Courtois helped Real to their 14th European crown.
Last Saturday, the Belgium international made a sequence of crucial saves to deny Liverpool’s biggest talents.
Los Blancos were able to score the game-winning goal with Vinicius Junior, bringing the trophy back to Madrid.
Due to an injury, the 30-year-old was unable to join up with Belgium for their Nations League match against Netherlands.
And the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper used his rare free time to plan a romantic getaway with Gerzig and pop the question.

Gerzig is a frequent visitor to the Santiago Bernabeu, where she cheers on her soon-to-be husband from the stands.
