The Premier League Player of the Month for November and December 2022 has been named by the Premie League.
In an official release, the English FA announced and confirmed the EA Sports Premier League player of the month for November and December 2022. Martin Odegaard, a midfielder for Arsenal, was named player of the month in the premier league after being recognized for his significant contribution to the team’s current dominant performance. He is the second Norwegian, after Erling Haaland, to receive this honor.
For the months of November and December 2022, Martin Odegaard directly contributed to six goals for Arsenal. In a formal statement posted to the Arsenal website, the captain explained:
“It feels great, I’ve said a lot of times this team has a lot of young, hungry players and we play so well with each other. It’s a pleasure to play with them and show my qualities so I’m very happy to get this award.”
As games in January 2023 continue to come in thick and fast, Arsenal, who are currently five points ahead of Manchester City for first place in the premier league standings, would like to maintain the impressive run.
Back-to-back games for the London club would see the Arsenal play Tottenham on January 15th, 2023, and Manchester United on January 22nd, 2023.
