Tems recently revealed an intriguing secret about her mother, informing Nigerians that the singer’s mother had previously been in a well-known TV commercial.
This revelation was made on Twitter, when a user posted a clip of the well-known Royco commercial. The woman in the advertisement was later identified as Tems’ mother in her response to the video.

With a voiceover saying that she knew Tems was going to be a special baby girl on the Temilade Interlude of her debut EP, For Broken Ears, Tems’ mother had already won the hearts of her fans before this.
