Karim Benzema of Real Madrid and France won the famous Ballon d’Or 2022 award at the ceremony, which was place today, Monday, October 17, 2022. The organizers also announced the complete player power rankings.
After a standout season in which his team Real Madrid won the Champions League and La Liga in the same year (2012–2022), Benzema became the fourth Frenchman to receive the trophy. Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City was ranked third, while Sadio Mane of Liverpool was ranked second.
