When the summer transfer window opens, Chelsea and Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku could be on his way out.
Inter Milan’s board members will meet with Lukaku’s lawyers, according to Transfer News expert Fabrizio Romano. Following an interview with Sky Sports in Italy during the January transfer window, the Belgian has been linked with the Serie A team.
Following the price Chelsea spent for Lukaku last year, the striker’s return to Inter Milan could face some difficulties. The Blues paid about £100 million for Lukaku, and if Inter Milan wants to purchase him back, the transfer money will be an issue.
Lukaku finished last season as Thomas Tuchel’s leading goal scorer with 15 goals in all competitions, followed by Kai Havertz with 14 goals and Mason Mount with 13.

It’s really complicated deal as Chelsea paid €115m for Rom one year ago.
