In a poignant statement sent to followers via Twitter, Ghanaian producer Juls has spoken up to fans about feeling neglected in the music business.
The producer claims that he has mentally struggled with the sensation of underappreciation and has been tormented by thoughts of quitting, but he persists out of concern for his family. “I feel like I don’t get a lot of affection from my peers and people in this music scene,” Juls stated. I do this for my family and for those who actually appreciate what I do. I won’t lie, though; there are moments when you do go to your peers for comfort, and it hurts.
Juls continued by discussing the work he has done in the field by altering soundscapes and how his underappreciation has made him consider giving up.
Sounds Of My World (Deluxe), the producer’s fourth studio album, was just released. It features notable performers including Wizkid, Fireboy, Sauti Sol, DarkoVibes, Niniola, and others.
