The nominees for the September 2022 manager of the month award have been revealed by the Premier League organization.
On September 22, 2022, a statement was published on the Premier League’s official website. Some of the names on the list were to be expected, while others caught some league supporters off guard.
Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham, seemed a likely candidate given his success in the league. Spurs defeated Fulham and Leicester City in all of their games, scoring eight goals while only giving up three.
Gary O’Neil, the Bournemouth Football Club’s acting manager, also made the list due to his performance after Scott Parker was fired. He drew with Newcastle United and defeated Nottingham Forest in his first two games.
After beating Leicester City and Arsenal Football Club, Erik Ten Hag of Manchester United is the last name on the list.
