The winner of the best player award for April 2023 has been revealed by the Premier League board.
Erling Haaland, a forward for Manchester City, was selected as the honoree. Since moving to Cityzens from Borussia Dortmund, the Norwegian has been in outstanding form.
When he was selected as the recipient of the award, he shared his joy on Manchester City’s official website.
I am really happy to win this award for the second time this season, I am grateful to everyone who voted for me. We are in such a vital part of the season and winning all of our Premier League games throughout April was important. I am delighted to have helped the team by scoring goals and we just need to keep going until the end.
