Chelsea Football Club has successfully completed the acquisition of goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from Major League Soccer (MLS) side New England Revolution.
The 23-year-old Serbian international, who boasts two caps for his national team, has committed to a seven-year contract with the Stamford Bridge club, with an additional club option for another year. Upon finalizing the transfer, Petrovic expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled to be a part of Chelsea and eagerly anticipate commencing my journey with this remarkable club.”
He further added, “Joining one of the world’s premier football clubs has always been a cherished aspiration of mine, and today, I am proud to have realized that ambition.
