Oleksandr Zinchenko has been officially signed by Arsenal Football Club from Manchester City in time for the upcoming football season (2022–23).
On Friday, July 22, 2022, The Gunners posted a statement on their official website confirming the signing. The Ukrainian has signed a long-term contract with the North London team, according to reports from the club.
The 25-year-old began his football career with the Shakhtar Donetsk junior program before transferring to FC Ufa in Russia in 2015. Before signing with Manchester City in June 2016, he made 31 appearances for FC Ufa. He then spent the 2016–17 season on loan at PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands before coming back to City the following year.
Ahead of the new season, he is the fifth player to join the Men’s First Team roster. In addition, Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos, Matt Turner, and Fabio Vieira have all joined the team.
