Regarding the reported acquisition of promising winger Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk, Chelsea FC has issued an official statement.
The Blues’ statement follows Shakhtar Donetsk’s announcement on social media this morning, Saturday, January 14, 2023, that the two parties are currently in negotiations to work out a few details before the deal becomes official. However, based on Chelsea’s most recent post on the official website, it appears that both parties have given their final responses.
For the first time, Chelsea FC released online articles about a player without receiving official confirmation on social media and their website. Fans were urged by the blues to follow the up-and-coming star on social media because they wouldn’t regret it.
According to reports, Chelsea made a 100 million euro offer to Shakhtar Donetsk ( 80 million for the main bid and 20 million plus add ons). Mykhaylo Mudryk reportedly received a 7-year contract with the blues with a salary cap of 7.5 million euros annually.
