Bangtan Sonyeondan, also known as BTS, a multi-award-winning group, set a new benchmark in the music space when the seven gifted men became the first and only group in history to take home the Best Group Of The Year honor at the recently held MTV Video Music Awards, which were held in the wee hours of Monday, August 29, 2022.
BTS won the Group Of The Year 2022 MTV VMA award for the fourth time, making them the first and only group in the event’s history to accomplish this feat. Additionally, this brings their total number of VMA awards won to 11.
In total, BTS has received 65 honors from all American award ceremonies.
