Nigerian Afrobeat export Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, has revealed how much he was paid to headline this year’s Rolling Loud event in Toronto, Canada.
Along with Nigerian-British rapper Dave and American rapper Future, the Grammy-nominated Afrobeats sensation will headline one of the Rolling Loud festivals in Toronto, which will take place from September 9th to 11th, 2022.
Wizkid posted on his Instagram story that he was paid a whooping one million dollars to play at the world’s greatest hip-hop festival. He expressed himself as follows:

Wizkid’s post pertaining to his booking fee for the concert comes just days after Future, the co-headliner, tweeted about being paid a million dollars for a gig.

After sharing a private conversation with Wizkid about this particular issue online, sensational Nigerian music talent BNXN (Buju) also corroborated the account.
Furthermore, Nigerian Afro-fusion artiste Rema, will also play at the festival.
