The permanent signing of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United has been announced by Manchester City Football Club.
On Monday, July 4th, 2022, the information was confirmed on the Cityzens’ official website. The English player signed a contract, according to reports from the club, that will keep him with the team through the summer of 2028.
He exclaimed how happy he was to be playing for one of the top football coaches in the world and joining the Premier League Champions.
While Darko Gyabi is anticipated to transfer from Manchester City to Leeds, Leeds United accepted Phillips’ $42 million asking price. West Ham United did make a move for Phillips during the transfer window in January, but it was turned down.
