Premier League Champions, Manchester City, have officially confirmed the signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for a record-breaking £100m.
The highly rated English midfielder departs his boyhood club in a record-breaking move which makes him the biggest transfer in English football history.
The previous record was held by Paul Pogba, who re-joined Manchester United for £93.25m from Juventus in 2016.

After signing his contract, Grealish said:

“Over the past 10 seasons, they have won major trophies consistently. Pep coming here has taken them to the next level and the football this team plays is the most exciting in Europe. To play for Pep and learn from him is going to be special and it’s something any top footballer would want.
“The facilities are amazing, and I honestly can’t wait to get started, meet everyone and get playing.”
The Director of Football at Man City, Txiki Begiristain added:

Jack Grealish signs for Man City on a six-year deal. He inherits the shirt from Sergio Aguero, who wore 10 with distinction between 2015-21 for the club.
Grealish is a Villa academy graduate and has made over 200 appearances for the club, scoring 32 goals.
