On Friday, July 8, 2022, Manchester United posted a list of the 31 players who will be visiting Thailand and Australia on its official website. The most notable player to not be included on the tour roster was Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo has been given a leave of absence by the club, according to a statement issued by the team, so he can take care of his family matters.
Since it was revealed that the Portuguese player intends to leave the team during the current transfer window, he has not shown up for the team’s preseason workouts. According to reports, the Red Devils have stated that they are open to hearing bids for the forward talent.
Todd Boehly, the owner of Chelsea, is apparently interested in signing the 37-year-old to a contract at Stamford Bridge, but only if Thomas Tuchel accepts the offer. According to reports, Ronaldo is willing to accept a pay reduction from a club in order to participate in the Champions League.
