According to sources, Kylian Mbappe has a ‘totally broken’ relationship with Paris Saint-Germain and wants to leave the French club in January. However, he will not be permitted to sign with Real Madrid.
According to the Spanish publication Marca, Mbappe informed PSG in July that he wanted to leave due to intense interest from Real Madrid, who made a summer approach of £154 million for the 23-year-old before he chose to sign a new contract with PSG instead.
However, Marca has now asserted that if Mbappe does depart at this time, PSG will not consider any offer from Real, leaving Liverpool as one of his only workable possibilities.
PSG have agreed to work on Mbappe’s exit under certain circumstances, namely that a move to the Bernabeu be eliminated, the publication claims.
Mbappe is regarded as one of the top players in the world, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has already expressed interest in him. However, the financial commitment might make a deal with the Reds difficult.
Since the Frenchman apparently wants to test himself in the Premier League, he has been frequently associated with Klopp’s team in recent years.
