Nigerian Afrobeat star, Wizkid has King Promise traveling with him to Abidjan, where he is scheduled to perform. The two didn’t show up for a concert they were scheduled to perform at in Ghana on December 10, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Both camps have issued press releases addressing the matter, and they are similar in wording citing security and coordination as the issues.
In a video posted on Wizkid’s Instagram account, King Promise and Mugeez of R2Bees were seen traveling to Abidjan by private plane. Wizkid is set to perform in two countries on December 11, 2022: Cote D’Ivoire and Benin.
Both King Promise and Mugeez have not been scheduled to perform at these events, but they are nonetheless showing up to express their support for Wizkid.
