Former Ghanaian international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has been named as the first black ambassador for the city of Berlin, Germany.

As an ambassador for Berlin at Euro 2024, the ex-Barcelona forward will be marketing the city to fans or supporters ahead of the tournament.

Berlin was the first city where Kevin developed his love for football after he joined Hertha Berlin as a seven-year-old.

Boateng was born in the city of Berlin to a German mother and a Ghanaian father.

However, he switched nationality to play for Ghana in 2010.

He represented Ghana at the senior level, capping 15 times from 2010 and 2014 scoring two goals. Boateng represented Ghana at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.
