Kanye West Announces His Return To Instagram With A New Collaboration With McDonald
Kanye West has made his return to social media after months of hiatus to reveal what he’s been working on a new McDonald’s packaging design.
Kanye West announced his new business venture on Instagram on Monday, after being away from the social media platform for several months.
“Ye partners up with famed Muji industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to redesign McDonald’s packaging,” he said alongside a shot of the prospective new design, shortly after sharing an IG story saying, “Next week it’s the fries.”
BTW, the fries line is a reference to a phrase from Ye’s song “In “Gold Digger,” he raps, “He got that ambition, honey, look at his eyes.” He’ll mop floors this week and fry the following week.”
Furthermore, Ye was photographed out in Tokyo earlier this month with his girlfriend Chaney Jones, which could explain the purpose for the visit.
Kanye was suspended from Instagram in March after his attacks on Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian, and a racist remark directed at Trevor Noah.
The design is similar to Ye’s Yeezy clothing and shoe line, which has a minimalistic aesthetic.
