Chelsea FC defender Trevoh Chalobah is rumored to be planning a move away from the Stamford Bridge squad before the transfer season closes.
The English defender has never been able to crack the starting lineup for the Blues, and Thomas Tuchel has almost never used him as a replacement. Chalobah’s desire to quit the club before the transfer window closes was confirmed by The Athletic.
According to reports, Inter Milan is interested in signing the young defender, but Chelsea is unwilling to lose him on a long-term basis. If the Stamford Bridge club is unable to secure Wesley Fofana from Leicester City, the transaction may not go through.
In addition to Kalidou Koulibalu, Chelsea is still seeking a new defender to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, who recently joined Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.
