Award-winning British-Ghanaian producer, Jonathan Kweku Awote-Mensah, better known by his stage name JAE5 has confirmed in a series of videos posted on Twitter, collaboration with Black Sheriff, Headie One, and BNXN fka BUJU.
Following up on his most recent tweet, which read: “Aight a let’s see something. For every 500 retweets I’ll drop snippet of music I been working on. The further we go the more exclusive the snippet ! I need to share some music ! I have some music to give!! ”
The prolific record producer and sound engineer shared snippets of three (3) unreleased songs that have verses from controversial Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, Ghana’s man of the moment Black Sheriff, British rapper Headie One and talented Nigerian singer-songwriter BNXN fka Buju.
Jae5 started off with a tweet asking for 500 retweets so he could share a snippet of a song he’d been working on recently, before going on to offer a couple of other excerpts. He began by sharing excerpts with Headie and Black Sherif before moving on to his song with BNXN fka Buju and then Blaqbonez’s.
Not very long ago, JAE5 posted studio sessions with BNXN (Buju) when he traveled to Nigeria to make music with some of the hottest acts in its scene.
