Chelsea Defender Antonio Rudiger, is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
On Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, Transfer News analyst Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account. Rudiger, according to the tweet, cannot wait until the end of the season for the club to resolve its crisis.
The German is approaching the end of his contract and has been linked with teams such as PSG, Real Madrid, and Manchester United.
At the start of next season, Chelsea will be without Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. When the summer transfer market opens, the Blues will need to replace their center backs.
Antonio Rüdiger will leave Chelsea on a free transfer as he can’t wait more than 2 months for new owners. No bid on the table. He’s always been respectful – but it’s time for a new challenge. It’s over. 🔵 #CFC
