The Tanzanian Police Service confirmed the death of Said Oswayo, 32, a few days after allegedly shooting his wife to death.
Mr. Oswayo’s whereabouts were unknown following after shooting his wife, Swalha Salum, 28, several times in the head.
Speaking to the media, Mwanza Regional Police Commander, Mairi Makori noted that Mr. Oswayo’s body was found along Rock Beach shore floating on water.
He disclosed that preliminary investigations imply that the man committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
The body of the deceased husband was identified by relatives at the Police station.
She was shot after having an intense quarrel with her husband for putting up dishonest behaviours.
