Chelsea FC has officially parted ways with Three UK, one of the club’s sponsors.
Chelsea’s new owners or caretakers have taken a major decision regarding the club’s brand sponsors as the club enters a new beginning after 19 years.
The club has removed three UK from its official website, signaling the termination of their partnership. As you may recall, Three UK and Hyundai had already suspended their connection with Chelsea as a result of the UK government’s sanctions against the club.
Chelsea’s business accounts were also frozen after the company requested that fresh jerseys be printed without the brand name, which had been limited. Todd Boehly, the CEO of Chelsea, had promised a great substitute for Three UK. Roman Abramovich accepted his offer to acquire the club almost immediately, and all indications are that the new owner is doing just that.
