The opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar was full of delight for fans all across the world, however, one that caught their eyes was a Qatari citizen, Ghanim Al Muftah who was impaired beneath.
Some fans were in awe following the display of extraordinary choreography, performance and fireworks at the stadium.
The energetic young Qatari icon shared the center stage with American actor, Morgan Freeman to talk about diversity and inclusiveness from the Quran.
Ghanim is an icon for Qatar and an ambassador of FIFA World Cup.
He is a twin who was born with Caudal Regression Syndrome, a rare disorder that impairs the development of the lower spine.
The chances of survival for people with such disorder are few, however, doctors have managed to help Ghanim live beyond his fifteen years.
He is an inspiration to several people and prominent amongst youth and disabled people across the world.

He is currently studying Political Science & aims to be a diplomat for his country.
