The wealthiest South African province, Gauteng, is set to host the 2022 Miss South Africa pageant on 13 August.
The event will be returning to Gauteng during the Women’s Month after last hosting it in 2019.
The winner of the pageantry show will be crowned at the SunBet Arena at Times Square in Pretoria.
CEO of the Miss South Africa Organisation, Stephanie Weil, commented about how excited they are, bringing Mzansi’s foremost pageant back to Gauteng.
“We are looking forward to having Miss South Africa back in Gauteng and at the SunBet Arena at Time Square. It is an amazing venue to host a competition such as this and one that caters for contestants, entertainers and the audience.
“We’re also pleased to once again be holding the event in Women’s Month as the values of the Miss South Africa Organisation are closely aligned with what Women’s Month stands for,” said Weil.
The top 10 finalist of the Miss South Africa 2022 will be announced on Monday, June 13.
