Renowned pastor, Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church is dead according to reports.
He was said to have passed away on Tuesday night at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, following a long time illness according to Graphic Online.
Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye has not been spotted in public since becoming unwell; he was reportedly receiving care at a hospital before being referred to Korle Bu where he died.
After the news of his passing went viral, many members of the church trooped to the premises at Ngleshie Amanfro to mourn him.
In November 2021, Rev Kwadwo Boakye allegedly suffered a stroke, however, his wife denied the reports claiming he was only taking a break from active Ministry.
She later assumed responsibility over the church and broke away to form her own church after some disagreements with the church leadership.
