After seeing their team suffer a humiliating 3-0 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, Everton supporters vented their anger towards Frank Lampard and his teammates at the Vitality Stadium.
After losing 4-1 to the south coast club in the Carabao Cup midweek, Toffees fans expected a response. Instead, they saw the reverse, with Everton falling down 2-0 after only 25 minutes.
Security had to step in as Everton players approached the opposing crowd after the game because fans had staged a confrontational outburst of rage against Lampard’s team.
