Following Elon Musk’s appointment as CEO, there have been numerous adjustments to Twitter’s policy breaches. Aside from that, the organization’s structure has changed, with thousands of employees losing their jobs as a result.
Elon Musk recently introduced many new policies, one of which deals with accounts that impersonate well-known public people. He advised any accounts imitating public key figures to identify themselves as “PARODY” accounts in their usernames. Several accounts have been taken down in an effort to assess the effectiveness of this policy. The very recent to be taken down is that of Ghanaian rapper Medikal.
Prior to his account being taken down, Medikal had set up his account to imitate Ghana’s President, Nana Akuffo-Addo. In a tweet that named Elon Musk, a Twitter user reported Medikal’s account. His account was suspended immediately.
