Ivorian football legend and Chelsea FC football star, Didier Drogba has set a new record for African football, which has yet to be surpassed in the Premier League.
The former Chelsea forward was added to the Premier League Hall of Fame on Thursday, April 21, 2022, setting a precedent. Didier Drogba is the first and only African footballer to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, making this a historic occasion for African football.
The former star player took to his social media platform to show his gratitude in a heartwarming message that read:
