Graham Potter, the head coach of Chelsea, has clarified the situation of Dennis Zakaria’s employment with the London club.
During a pre-game press conference prior to Chelsea’s matchup against Brentford, Potter refuted the rumors.
He did, however, affirm that the player has been giving his all in practice and that, when the time is perfect, he will get the opportunity to play for the Blues.
There is no decision that has been made on him whatsoever. Dennis has been in the group, he has been training well and he is ready to help the team.
There is plenty of competition for places in that midfield area but he is an important part of the team and he is ready to help out. He is working hard and he is waiting for his chance.
