According to reports, Barcelona Football Club is interested in signing a pre-contract with a Chelsea midfielder Jorginho in January.
Before Jorginho’s deal with the Blues in the Premier League expires, the Catalonian club is considering starting discussions with him. However, if the player declines to sign a new contract with Chelsea, AC Milan may challenge Barcelona for his signature.
However, Jorginho’s agent had previously stated that his client’s top goal is to speak with Chelsea about the prospect of a contract extension. Regarding the future of the Italian, there hasn’t been any current news from either party.
During the 2018 summer transfer window, Jorginho moved from Napoli to Chelsea. He committed to a five-year contract with the Blues, keeping him with the team through the summer of 2023.
