In the annals of the English Women’s League, the women’s team of Chelsea Football Club made their mark.
The Stamford Bridge club accomplished this milestone after defeating the Manchester City women’s squad. Chelsea has defeated Manchester City three times in a row, becoming them the first team in this competition to accomplish this feat.
Fran Kirby scored the game’s goals in the first half, and Maren Mjelde converted a penalty kick in the second when a Manchester City player fouled him in the penalty area.
