Chelsea midfielder Callum Hodson-Odoi has joined Bayer Leverkusen on loan for the remainder of the current football season as announced by Chelsea FC, his parent club. His loan move, according to club reports, was brought on by a lack of playing time under manager Thomas Tuchel.
The player who joined the team from the Chelsea academy with Reuben Loftus-cheek has come under fire from the team’s supporters. In his four Premier League seasons with the team, Odoi has only scored four goals.
The deal does not include a buyout clause for the player, but it does have a recall clause for the January 2023 transfer window.
