Chelsea have completed the permanent transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona.
Following a seven-month spell at Camp Nou, the veteran forward joins the Blues on a two-year contract, becoming the club’s sixth senior signing of the summer window. He scored 13 goals in 23 games for Barcelona last season, helping them climb from sixth to second place in La Liga after joining in February.
The 33-year-old is a proven Premier League goalscorer, having struck 68 times for Arsenal over four years at the Emirates, averaging more than a goal every two games in all competitions and sharing the Golden Boot trophy with Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in 2018/19.
In 2020, he won the FA Cup with Arsenal, adding to his titles from Borussia Dortmund in Germany and Saint-Etienne in France.
