The left back for Chelsea Marc Cucurella couldn’t believe it when he heard Jorginho had joined Arsenal.
When he was questioned about which Chelsea player was the smartest, the defender was performing media duties for the club. He said, “Jorginho,” but the journalist interrupted him to add that the Italian now represents Arsenal.
On the last day of the January 2023 transfer window, Jorginho signed with Arsenal. With an option to extend, his 18-month contract with the Gunners will keep him there through the summer of 2024.
