David de Gea has left Manchester United after his contract expired on June 30, 2023. He is now a free agent and is free to sign for any club.
De Gea joined Manchester United in 2011 and went on to make 487 appearances for the club. He won the Premier League title in 2013, the FA Cup in 2016, and the League Cup in 2017. He was also named the Premier League’s Golden Glove winner in 2018.
De Gea’s departure is a major loss for Manchester United. He was one of the club’s best players and his presence in goal will be missed. However, the club will now have the opportunity to bring in a new goalkeeper who can challenge Dean Henderson for the number one spot.
It is not yet clear where De Gea will go next. He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but there are also reports that he could stay in the Premier League. His next move will be closely watched by fans of Manchester United and of football in general.
“I’d would like to express my unwavering gratitude and appreciation for the love from the last 12 years”.
“I took incredible pride everytime I pulled on this shirt, the biggest club in the world”.
“Manchester will always be in my heart”.
