The following statement regarding Ben Chilwell was made today by Chelsea Football Club. Ben has had a hamstring scan after suffering an injury in our most recent encounter against Dinamo Zagreb. Results indicate that Ben has sustained a serious injury, and the defender will sadly be missing the World Cup. Ben will now start working with the club’s medical staff on a recovery program.
Chillwell will not participate in the world cup with the English team and is most likely to return to the field in 2023.
