South African rappers AKA and Da L.E.S have put an end to their feud while performing live on stage at CottonFest.
Riky Rick’s influence on South African hip hop is undeniable. Cassper Nyovest revealed at the rapper’s burial that the late South African hip hop star had intended to bring him out at CottonFest this year to show fans that their feud was over.
Rick’s book has now been ripped apart by AKA and Da L.E.S. During AKA’s performance, he invited the latter to the stage, and their feud was finally put to rest. The songs Real Stuff and All Eyes on Me were performed by both of them. Fans were taken aback when they saw this.
It’s still unknown what caused their argument. They had, however, made it clear that they were not friends with diss songs. “If I don’t really get with your vibe anymore, I have to safeguard my energy first,” L.E.S said in an interview on BET’s Behind The Story. So that’s the current state of the relationship. It’s about prioritizing my energy and self-preservation, and I just keep moving forward. “I don’t agree with everything ‘he said, she said.'”
