Bayern Munich, the reigning Bundesliga champions, have been quietly acquiring players during the January 2023 transfer window, as evidenced by their most recent acquisition. Daley Blind, a former star for Manchester United and Ajax, is allegedly close to joining Bayern.
Before the specifics of the agreement were made official, Daley Blind reportedly parted ways with Ajax, hinting that he would be moving to Munich on a free agency basis. Up until June 2023, the contract with Netherlands International would be in effect.
The first move Bayern Munich would make in January 2023 would be this one, and given how shrouded in secrecy the team’s officials are, there would be more.
Even though the club has continued to score goals despite the absence of a natural forward, the German powerhouses have not publicly denied their interest in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham, who would see his contract expire soon.
