Sadio Mane, the national team of Senegal’s club captain, has been selected as the Socrates award recipient.
Since this is the award’s initial edition, Mane is the first recipient. By helping those in need, the Bayern Munich player has distinguished himself for the Senegalese people.
A hospital was constructed by a former Liverpool star, and the school donates funds and offers free clothing to children.
