Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Asake has apologized to his Birmingham fans members for the concert’s delay.
Asake, who performed in Birmingham on December 3 and issued an apology via tweet, claimed that the show’s promoters were to blame for his delay. The performer said;
“Birmingham I apologize for the yesterday’s delay. For reasons best known to them, the promoters delayed my pick-up time. However, I sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience.”
Asake was booed for being late to the show, and fans took to Twitter to express their outrage. They were more enraged when he responded by posting a photo of himself standing with a wad of cash.
